Working Experiences and Achievements
- 1999 - 2018: Study Group on NeuroEndocrine Immunology (NEI) at the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) Annual Meeting. This study group had a good tradition in the ACR and has been founded and approved at ACR in 1999 (ACR Boston MA, by Prof. Dr. Alfonse Masi, Peoria (ACR Master) and Prof. Dr. Maurizio Cutolo (Genoa, Italy). Since then, several internationally recognized colleagues were coordinator of the study group during the years: starting A. Masi, 1999 - 2001; M. Cutolo, Genoa, Italy 2002 - 2004 and others. The meetings of the NEI SG were organized from 1999 (ACR Boston MA, November) until November 2018 (ACR Chicago,IL November) and were replicated every year at the Annual ACR meeting. The number of attendees was always in the range of 50-80 people but it exceeded the number of 100 people in 2008. The study group was alway well accepted by many colleagues in Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology at ACR because it bridged the different disciplines of Immunology, Endocrinology, and Neuroscience.
M. Cutolo was also invited speaker in 12 of the 18 NEI sessions during the Annual ACR Meeting.

- 2012 - 2018: Study Group on Capillaroscopy in Rheumatic Diseases at the American College of Rheumatology (ACR). The Study Group at ACR Annual Meeting was founded by M Cutolo (Genoa Italy) and A. Herrick (UK) in 2012 and approved by ACR at the 2012 at Annual ACR Meeting (Washington, DC) November 9-14, 2012. The SG Sessions were attended every ACR annual Meeting by an average number of 80-120 people and the structure was characterized by teoterical lessions and practical instrumental sessions. M Cutolo has been the coordinator every Annual ACR Meeting from November 2012 (ACR Washighton DC) until November 2019 (ACR Atlanta,Georgia November)

- 2014-2015: M Cutolo has been appointed at the ACR Meeting in 2014 and has served as Chairman of the International League of Associations for Rheumatology (ILAR) managing the ILAR Committee meetings during the ACR annual Meeting in 2014 and 2015.
