Education and career
Robert Philipp Wagensommer holds a bachelor’s degree in “Natural Sciences” (2004) and a master of science degree in “Biodiversity and Nature Conservation” (2006), both at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” (Italy). Subsequently he obtained a PhD in “Biosystematics and Plant Ecology” (2010) at the University of Florence (Italy), and a PhD in “Geological, Biological and Environmental Sciences” (2017) at the University of Catania (Italy).
From November 2019 to September 2022 he was a tenure-track fixed-term researcher (RtdB) at the University of Bari “Aldo Moro” (Italy)[1]. Since October 2022 he is a tenured associate professor at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano (Italy)[2].
