Antonio Gasbarrini (born on October 11, 1963, Bologna, Italy) is the head of the Medicine and Surgery Department of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Rome, professor in internal medicine at the same university and director of the operative units of internal medicine and gastroenterology and of the digestive diseases centre of the Fondazione Policlinico Universitario Gemelli IRCCS of Rome.[1]
